Rooted in the rich history and charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, the Institute advances the CSJ commitment to serve all persons without distinction, to respond to the needs of the times, and to prepare fearless visionaries for a just future.
Mount alums have the opportunity to engage with the CSJ institute through their programs, research and events.
The CSJ Institute is producing a variety of resources to help our Mount community grow in the spirit of our founders, including short videos from our Oral History Project of the Sisters of St. Joseph, as well as online and print materials.
Mount students and faculty are advancing research on the contributions and achievements of our sisters as well as social issues of importance to our shared mission. Findings are presented each spring at our Academic Symposium.
Opportunities are offered throughout the year for our Mount community and partners to engage in the spirit of our founders through speakers, our pilgrimage to Le Puy, France, and CSJ Week.
